Service Overview
The RFID solution is provided on a one-off installation fee and annual rental basis.
Installation pricing includes all necessary equipment, including plant required for working at height (where specified).
Annual rental includes:
- Hardware rental
- API access
- Up to three dashboard user licences
- Break-fix maintenance
Pricing also includes:
- Initial onboarding and training session
- Email support (Monday–Friday, 09:00–16:00)
Access and Installation Conditions
Clear and uninterrupted site access must be provided on agreed installation dates.
Failure to provide access will result in an abortive visit charge of £750, plus any plant or third-party costs incurred.
Integration Scope
Pricing includes integration with the production system defined during scoping.
Additional integrations (e.g., ERP, finance, quality management systems) will require:
- Additional scoping and design
- A seperate commercial agreement
This ensures transparency while enabling scalable and fit-for-purpose deployments.
Commercial Terms
A valid Purchase Order and full payment for Year 1 are required prior to commencement.
Pricing assumes:
- Standard working hours (Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00)
- Single mobilisation/visit unless otherwise agreed
Additional visits, out-of-hours work, or phased delivery may incur additional charges.
Client Responsibilities
The client shall ensure:
- Safe, unrestricted access to all working areas
- Availability of required infrastructure (e.g., power, containment, cabinets unless otherwise specified)
- Provision of suitable storage space for materials
- Accuracy of all drawings, specifications, and system requirements
Site and Environmental Assumptions
No asbestos or hazardous materials are present in work areas. Working height requirements do not exceed 2 metres unless otherwise agreed.
No allowance is included for:
- Removal of existing cabling
- Lifting/replacing ceiling or floor systems
- Work by third parties (e.g., drilling, fire stopping, structural modifications)
Any deviation may result in additional costs.
Delays and Variations
- Delays caused by the client or third parties will be chargeable
- Variations must be agreed in writing prior to execution
- Additional time and cost adjustments will apply where scope changes occur
Payment Terms
Payment is due in advance (Year 1).
No retention or discount applies unless explicitly agreed.
Late payments may incur:
- Interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998
- Suspension of services until payment is received
Ownership and Intellectual Property
- All hardware remains the property of RFIoT under rental agreements
- All software, dashboards, and system IP remain the property of RFIoT or its licensors
Liability
Liability is limited to 10% of the contract value.
RFIoT is not liable for:
- Errors in client-provided specifications
- Indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Warranty
A 12-month workmanship warranty applies from completion
Covers defects due to installation or system faults.
Excludes:
- Wear and tear
- Third-party interference
- Misuse or premature operation
Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Industrial action
- Government actions
Termination
Contracts may be terminated in cases of insolvency or material breach
Costs incurred up to termination remain payable.
Dispute Resolution
Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation
If unresolved, disputes may be referred to adjudication under:
- Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996
Adjudicator body: RICS
General
- Quotations are valid for 30 days
- Terms apply to the proposal as a whole unless otherwise agreed
- RFIoT standard terms apply to all engagements
